Fan reaction seems to be positive, probably because he was fantastic in the Super Bowl:

Clement was injured in 2018 and 2019 and actually didn’t even run the ball once last year. He played special teams for a couple of games and then went on IR in October. The year prior, he got stuck behind Josh Adams and only ran the ball 68 times for 259 yards and two touchdowns. He caught 22 passes for 192 yards, then suffered a knee injury in week 14.

The Eagles obviously think he’s healthy now, so he joins a backfield featuring Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, and undrafted 22 year old Elijah Holyfield. They still need a veteran to round out the the RB corps, preferably a big bruiser who can run between the tackles and give you something in short-yardage situations.

If they can get 2017 Clement back, it’s a good depth move, but he hasn’t been 100% healthy for two years now.
