In what could be the whitest feud of all time, Spike Eskin and JJ Redick continued their mutual dislike of each other last evening after Redick appeared on Derek Bodner and Rich Hoffman’s Sixers Beat podcast MERE DAYS after saying he would be a guest on Eskin’s Rights to Ricky Sanchez podcast.

Thrilling?! Oh my no. Intriguing? In this social distancing world we live in where going on walks is our highest form of entertainment, I suppose it will have to do.

Eskin let the world know that something was TERRIBLY WRONG yesterday with a MYSTERIOUSLY VAGUE tweet at 4:34 p.m.

Not surprised at what? That ESP wouldn’t go along with the latest “Andy Reid Appreciation Day” bit WIP had planned to fill time during the week?

The curtain was pulled completely back and the ultimate betrayal was revealed for the entire world to see.

The former Sixer did the unthinkable and left the RTRS crowd out in the cold, instead choosing to appear on the rival podcast Sixers Beat. Note the final piece on the agenda for the show. That’s some mighty fine trolling by Derek and Rich, the modern day equivalent of The Bushwackers from early 90s wrestling.

Redick chose to drive the final nail into the coffin with one last tweet to Eskin. For a guy who claimed he was through with social media last year, JJ’s certainly active on twitter when he wants to drive Eskin crazy.

Tensions were simmering between the tatted two since earlier in the week when Eskin retweeted an argument between Redick and a fan— they had been arguing about, of all things, whether or not Redick could actually dunk in a game. Alerted to Eskin’s retweet, Redick fired back.

The two fired shots throughout the week until the stage was set for the biggest double-cross this side of the Montreal Screwjob.

For one shining moment their sniping distracted us all from the fact that today was supposed to be the start of the NBA playoffs. It even brought The Maestro out of his hyperbaric chamber to levy his thoughts on the two heavyweights taking their feud public.

So what’s next for the two? Will Redick stand up Spike again to appear on the Crossing Broadcast? Will Spike hire a Redick look-a-like to appear in a music video he produces about the former Sixer ignoring an alleged human trafficking incident in New York City? Will we all forget about this by tomorrow and regret ever giving this attention in the first place?

Only time will tell.
