Earlier today Eric Emanuele, the artist formerly known as EROCK (of 4th and Jawn), shared some Eagles season ticket holder information on Twitter.

The Birds had previously allowed deferral of season ticket payments from April 16th to July 1st, but now they do not plan on processing those transactions, which is explained at the bottom of the third paragraph here:

The significance here is that people seem to think this insinuates that fans will not be in the stadium this year, or at least not at full capacity. If that was the case, payments would be processed tomorrow morning and we’d continue with business as usual.

For what it’s worth, the NFL has not handed down any official ruling about fan presence in stadiums this year. There’s been talk of perhaps spacing out the seats, doing 25% capacity, and/or placing a tarp over the lower rows near the players, but no confirmation of any plans from the league office.

Other teams have begun to offer refunds for season tickets, and maybe the Birds get there eventually, but this is the latest communication to STH from the team.
