Welcome to this week’s installment of “radio host says something stupid.” I’m your host, Kevin Kinkead.

Today we’ve got Chicago’s Dan McNeil, who used to work for 670 The Score, but he was fired after sending out a tweet mocking Maria Taylor’s Monday Night Football outfit and basically comparing her to a porn star.

This tweet:

I’m no Karl Lagerfeld (RIP), but that outfit looks pretty cool to me. It’s like a hip and modified leather jacket, but with straps. Major Rob Halford-on-his-motorcycle vibes.

This Dan McNeil guy got absolutely crushed on social media, labeled a misogynist and sexist and similar things. Taylor responded to him by saying this:

“Well Danny Dearest if you would like to continue making sexist comments about me… please bring your misogyny with you to the NBA Countdown double header I’ll be hosting tomorrow night. Hey ladies remember you can wear whatever you feel confident in!”

Apparently McNeil was on strike six or seven at The Score, so this must have been the error that put him over the top.
