Spread

As of midweek, the Eagles are a 1-point underdog to the Rams, which represents the latest fluctuation of a point spread that has been all over the place since it first opened on Sunday night.

The Eagles continue to deal with significant injury issues as defensive ends Vinny Curry (hamstring) and Brandon Graham (concussion) as well as cornerback Craig James (lower body) sustained injuries last week. Curry and James were put on IR, while it’s still unknown if Graham will make it back in time for this week’s game.

However, the Eagles did receive some good news on the injury front early in the week.

Obviously, the return of Miles Sanders and Lane Johnson would be huge for an offense that sputtered in the Eagles’ second-half collapse last week, so stay tuned there.

As for the Eagles vs. Rams spread, as noted above, it has been all over the place. Initially, the Eagles opened as a short favorite, but the Rams quickly moved to a 1.5-point favorite by Tuesday night. Now, the spread sits at Rams -1. Either way, this game is destined to feature a close spread by the time kickoff rolls around on Sunday.

Moneyline

The Eagles opened as a slight moneyline favorite, but that number, too, has moved with their current odds set at +100 at  DraftKings Sportsbook. Interestingly, despite sitting as a 1.5-point underdog, FanDuel Sportsbook, has both teams at -108 of the moneyline. This likely signals that bettors there are simply forgoing the point spread grabbing the Eagles to win outright.

On that note, bettors backing the Rams can get the best price at FanDuel Sportsbook (-108) where they have a 51.9% win probability.

Total

The over-under for the Eagles and Rams is set fairly low at 45.5 with DraftKings Sportsbook, but it is sitting at 47 points with other sportsbooks. Interestingly, the last two times Doug Pederson and Sean McVay matched wits, the two teams scored a combined 78 points (2017) and 53 points (2018).

Where Is the Money Going?

Who is the public backing for the Week 2 clash?

Currently, 77% of the bets and 80% of the money is on the Rams to cover. So the public is all over the Rams early, which explains why L.A. is now favored. This presents a potential opportunity to fade the public.

Meanwhile, the under is getting a slight majority of the action, with 57% and 54% of the bets and money, respectively, on that side.

Be sure to check back as we’ll keep this updated throughout the week as more info comes in on the game.

Eagles vs. Rams Props

As of midweek, prop bets have not yet been released for the Eagles and Rams, but there will be a wide range of player prop markets, including scoring props, yardage props, and odds boosts soon available. FOX Bet excels in this regard and will roll out a variety of odds boosts (and perhaps a no-brainer super boost) in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
