A happy ending for Robert Kraft.

Today it was revealed that Florida prosecutors will drop charges of soliciting prostitution because they essentially can’t use the evidence they have against the New England Patriots and Revolution owner. That evidence is video allegedly showing him paying for massage parlor sex at the “Orchids of Asia” day spa.

From The Associated Press:

The Florida 4th District Court of Appeal found last month that Jupiter police violated the rights of Kraft and others when they secretly installed video cameras inside massage rooms at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa in early 2019. The court then blocked use of the video footage at trial.

The recordings, which have not been made public, are the only known evidence the men paid for sex.

Can’t believe TMZ wasn’t able to obtain the footage. There must have been enormous amounts of money involved in this scenario, in offering to either sell the footage or seal it forever.

Prosecutors did have the option of appealing the 4th district ruling but decided not go, because they were worried that might start a chain of events that negatively affected future similar investigations.

The disappointing thing here is that all of the jokes and puns and clever word choices are about to come to an end, now that Bob Kraft was able to get off. This topic might have rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, especially Patriot fans who support Mr. Kraft. It was a story that perhaps tugged at their heartstrings.
