You probably know by now that Eagles wide receivers DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery are out once again this Sunday.

This development may not necessarily be a shocker to Eagles fans, but the news made an immediate impact on the Eagles vs. Ravens odds.

The line had held steady throughout the week with the Ravens as a 7.5-point favorite, but it has now climbed to Ravens -9.5 in the wake of the Eagles’ Friday injury report. A look at the damage:

The font on this thing is like the bottom line of an eye test chart.

Anyway, the absences of Jackson and Jeffery, along with right tackle Lane Johnson, are a blow for an offense that had been hoping to receive some veteran help against an outstanding Baltimore defense this week.

With rookie Jack Driscoll taking Johnson’s place in the starting lineup, Jason Kelce is now the only member of the Eagles’ preseason projected offensive line left standing. Obviously, that’s cause for concern against a Ravens defense that racked up seven sacks last Sunday against the Bengals.

Eagles Nearing Historic Home Underdog Spot

As for the line, we’re reaching unprecedented territory here. Consider the following ugly truths:

The Eagles are currently a 9.5-point home underdog at DraftKings Sportsbook against the Ravens on Sunday. If this spread holds (or climbs), it would represent the biggest home underdog spot for the Eagles this century. They were a nine-point underdog to the Giants in Dec of 2005. They did cover that spread in a 26-23 loss, for what it’s worth.

Also of note, the Eagles, who are now an underdog of at least seven points for the third straight week, had previously been an underdog of seven or more points just two times in any season since the turn of the century.

Finally, they have only been a home underdog of seven or more points two times since the 1999 season. So yeah, I mean — this is pretty crazy stuff.

The good news? You can win on the Eagles at FOX Bet –even if they don’t. Bettors who place a $1 wager on any Eagles-Ravens bet this week will receive $50 free. So there’s that, which is nice.
