Announcer voice:

WE’VE GOT A BIG SLATE FILLED WITH SUPERSTAR QUARTERBACKS HERE IN WEEK 4!

The action kicks off early Sunday afternoon when Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys host the Cleveland Browns. It rolls right into the 4:25 slot when Patrick Mahomes will try to light up the scoreboard against the Patriots in front of a national audience.

But these games are just the appetizers — that’s right! That’s because the Eagles travel west to take on the 49ers, and, of course, the headline quarterback of that game is…Nick Mullens.

Yes, Nick Mullens.

Just look at this NFL “Week 4 Spotlight” promo that aired during last night’s Broncos-Jets game:

Dak Prescott, Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers…Mullens. Noticeably absent, obviously, is one Carson Wentz.

Some people on Twitter were quick to point out that the graphic includes all home team quarterbacks, but I’m not sure that’s what they were going for here.

Anyway, this is good. This is big-time bulletin board material. This is the slight that could spark the run.

No doubt Wentz will file away this show of blatant disrespect and prove to all of America what he is made of on Sunday night when he targets lone receiver Greg Ward 18 times for 64 yards.

Can’t wait.
