This is kind of a smallish bit of news, but it’s news nonetheless:

The ERFA thing is a little weird, but this is how it’s defined by the NFL:

“Any player with fewer than three accrued seasons and an expired contract. If his original team offers him a one-year contract at the league minimum (based on his credited seasons), the player cannot negotiate with other teams.”

There’s a sliding scale for these players based on how many seasons they’ve played. For each of these guys, their minimum salary will be less than a million dollars. They don’t really have a choice. They just sign the deal and play football. Next year, they’ll be restricted free agents.

But yeah, no brainer moves here. Singleton emerged to become the best Eagles linebacker. Greg Ward was the starting slot receiver. Scott backed up Miles Sanders as RB2. They’ll all be back on incredibly cheap deals this season.
