Tonight’s matchup is an interesting one as it comes as the second half of a back-to-back with both games taking place in the Big Apple. The New York Rangers were favored going into Thursday night’s game, but the result seriously put a dent in their postseason hopes. After Brendan Smith netted the first goal of the game midway through the first period, it felt like the Rangers were about to have a big night.
