On Sunday afternoon, the Milwaukee Bucks will play host to the Brooklyn Nets for Game 4 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals series.

Let’s take a closer look at the top Nets vs. Bucks Game 4 player prop picks and make some predictions for this June 13, 2021 NBA Playoffs matchup.

Nets vs. Bucks Game 4 Player Props (June 13, 2021)

On Thursday night, the Milwaukee Bucks got their first victory of their second round series against the Brooklyn Nets. It wasn’t the prettiest win, with the Bucks hitting 37.8% of their shots from the field and just 19.4% of their attempts from beyond the arc. While the Nets hit just as many field goals (34) as Milwaukee and more three-point field goals (8), this game came down to a massive free throw disparity with the Bucks earning 11 more attempts from the line, hitting five more overall in a three-point victory.

Two-time league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee in field goal attempts (31) and put up the second-most points for his squad (33), but his 1-8 shooting from beyond the arc nearly cost his team their first victory of the series. Khris Middleton, who had underwhelmed through the first two games of the series, dropped a team-high 35 points and grabbed a team-high 15 rebounds in the win. Antetokounmpo and Middleton’s efforts were necessary as no other Buck made it into double figures on the night.

The Nets were far from perfect in Game 3, but their inability to get to the line was their ultimate downfall, as they attempted just eight free throws. Kevin Durant led Brooklyn in scoring with 30 points, while Kyrie Irving and Bruce Brown contributed 22 and 16 points, respectively. Head coach Steve Nash’s decision to play only eight players could loom large as his two stars each played over 42 minutes each.

Will the Bucks draw level in this series or will the Nets take a 3-1 lead with the series heading back to Brooklyn?

Kyrie Irving to Record Over 4.5 Rebounds (-155, DraftKings Sportsbook)

For as dynamic of a scorer as Kyrie Irving can be, especially with the absence of superstar James Harden, it’s not the only skillset he brings to the table for the Brooklyn Nets. While his 24.1 points and 3.6 assists per game represent the second-highest marks for Brooklyn this postseason, his rebounding of late has been rock solid from the point guard position.

Irving has pulled down five rebounds in each of his last three playoff games, all of which have come against the Bucks. In his team’s opening round series against the Boston Celtics, Irving averaged 6.2 rebounds per game, including four games with at least 6 rebounds. It’s also worth noting that Kyrie pulled down five rebounds per game across two regular season meetings with the Bucks.

If you’re looking for a low-risk market based around an attainable goal by one of the best players in the series, this could be the one.

Khris Middleton to Make Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (-135, BetMGM)

Milwaukee’s collective backs were against the wall ahead of Game 3 with the realistic possibility of an 0-3 series hole against an incredibly talented Brooklyn Nets squad. Khris Middleton finally had the breakout game his team desperately needed from him. Middleton dropped a postseason-high 35 points on 12-25 shooting from the field, including 3-6 from beyond the arc.

While there’s potential value in the over/under points market for Middleton, there’s so much potential variance that it’s difficult to advise wading into those waters. Instead, it could be a much better call to get in on a Middleton-based market with made three-pointers as the criterion.

Middleton connected on 3 three-pointers in each of his first three postseason games against the Miami Heat before putting together a 2-6 performance from deep in his team’s closeout game. He followed that up with a dreadful 0-5 showing in Game 1 of this Eastern Conference Semifinals series against the Nets. However, to his credit, Middleton drained 3 three-pointers in each of his next two games against the Nets, raising his total postseason game with at least 3 three-pointers to five of seven games.

Kevin Durant to Score 30+ Points (-205, FanDuel Sportsbook)

Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant has been absolutely phenomenal this postseason. His 31.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game lead the team and his points per game are the fourth-most league wide this postseason. Durant also leads the team in blocks per game (1.9), is second in steals per game (1.7), and has dished out the third-most assists per game (3.6). Perhaps even more impressively, Durant has shot an outrageous 47.8% from beyond the arc on 46 postseason attempts.

While -205 odds on Durant to score 30+ points isn’t going to pay out a wild multiplier, there’s reason to believe this market will hit. KD is averaging 30.3 points per game thus far in this Eastern Conference Semifinals series. He’s dropped at least 30 points in each of his last two games and in five of his eight games in this postseason. In three regular season meetings between these squads, Durant put up at least 30 points in each game, including a 42-point outburst on May 2.

Keep in mind that FanDuel Sportsbook offers alternate point lines, so if you’re more bullish on KD’s scoring prowess, you can get him to put up 32+ points at -138 odds or 35+ points at +138 odds.
