On Monday night, the Atlanta Hawks will play host to the Philadelphia 76ers for Game 4 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals series.

Let’s take a closer look at the top Sixers vs. Hawks Game 4 player prop picks and make some predictions for this June 14, 2021 NBA Playoffs matchup.

Sixers vs. Hawks Game 4 Player Props (June 14, 2021)

After dropping a disappointing 128-124 contest at home in Game 1, the Philadelphia 76ers have reasserted themselves as the dominant squad in this series. Following Philadelphia’s 118-102 victory at the Wells Fargo Center, the series shifted to Atlanta for Game 3, where the Sixers were victorious by the same 16-point margin 127-111. It’s truly gut-check time for the Hawks, who could draw level in the series with a victory. However, if the favored Sixers are victorious tonight, they will take a 3-1 lead in the series, virtually booking themselves into the Eastern Conference Finals.

On Friday night, Sixers center Joel Embiid dropped 27 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, and dished out 8 assists in just under 34 minutes of game action. Tobias Harris contributed 22 points of his own to go with 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Ben Simmons (18), Furkan Korkmaz (14), Seth Curry (12), and Dwight Howard (12) each put up double-digit point totals in the win. It’s worth noting, however, that Philadelphia lost Danny Green early in Game 4 with a calf strain that is expected to keep him out of action for at least two weeks.

The Hawks saw their star point guard Trae Young shoot 9-17 from the field, including 3-6 from beyond the arc en route to a 28-point performance in Game 4. John Collins (23), Bogdan Bogdanovic (19), and Danilo Gallinari (17) also scored in double figures. It remains to be seen what adjustments will be made, but Young has struggled when being guarded by Ben Simmons. That’ll need to change for Atlanta to have any hope of winning Game 4.

Will Atlanta tie the series or will Philadelphia take a 3-1 strange hold back to the City of Brotherly Love?

Joel Embiid to Score 30+ Points and the Sixers to Win (+200, BetMGM)

Sixers superstar big man Joel Embiid has been everything his team has needed him to be this postseason. After suffering a tear in his meniscus, Embiid missed the series clincher against the Washington Wizards. Since then, he’s played nearly 35 minutes per game, averaging 35.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game. Simply put, he’s played at an MVP level and is a huge reason why the Sixers could pull to within one victory of an Eastern Conference Finals berth.

Despite the fact that Philadelphia is the road team in this contest, BetMGM has installed the Sixers as -155 moneyline favorites. Given their back-to-back wins by 16 points each, it stands to reason that Philadelphia will continue their strong play.

As for the likelihood of Embiid totaling 30+ points, keep in mind that he averaged 39.5 points per game through the first two games of the series on 23 field goal attempts per game. In Game 3, his free throw numbers (12-16) were identical to those from Game 2. The biggest difference from Game 2 to Game 3 was Embiid’s field goal attempts, which dropped from 25 to 14. Despite that drop-off, he still put up a team-high 27 points. Expect Embiid to assert himself in the paint early in this one in a Sixers victory.

Tobias Harris to Record Over 7.5 Rebounds (+104, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Tobias Harris’ scoring contributions this postseason have been enormous, especially when considering just how massive of a step forward he took in the regular season. Harris has established himself as a legitimate second option behind Embiid, freeing up Ben Simmons to do what he does best, while also drawing enough defensive gravity to get Seth Curry and Danny Green open looks.

With Danny Green out for at least the next two weeks, Harris will likely look to get even more involved on the boards to make up for Green’s 2.6 rebounds per game. As it stands, Harris is Philadelphia’s leading rebounder at 9.3 rebounds per game, which is up considerably from his regular season average of 6.8 rebounds per game.

In eight postseason games, Harris has pulled down at least 8 rebounds six times, including twice in this series. In his last six playoff games, Harris is averaging 9.8 rebounds per game. Tobias Harris’ rebounding numbers are trending in a positive way and that should continue on Monday night as the Sixers look to secure a road victory in Game 4.

Seth Curry to Score 15+ Points (+112, FanDuel Sportsbook)

When the Sixers acquired sharpshooter Seth Curry as part of an offseason trade including Josh Richardson going to the Dallas Mavericks, the hope was that he could provide some desperately-needed floor spacing as a three-point shooter. Curry proved to be exactly the player needed to unlock Ben Simmons’ all-around game, free up Tobias Harris to tally a majority of his points from inside the arc, and make opposing teams pay when doubling Joel Embiid.

Curry is shooting 54.3% from the field this postseason, including 44.9% from beyond the arc. Even more impressively, Curry has solidified himself as the team’s third option on offense, averaging 16.6 points per game to go with 2.6 assists and 1.8 rebounds per game. Through three postseason games against Atlanta, Curry is averaging 17.7 points per game, including two 21-point performances in Game 1 and Game 2.

Curry has tallied at least 15 points in five of hist eight playoff appearances, including three of his last four games. Danny Green’s absence from the lineup will likely signal an uptick in field goal attempts, especially from beyond the arc. It stands to reason that if Curry’s efficiency remains in the same ballpark, he’ll easily meet and/or exceed the 15 point threshold.
