What began as a dominant first two games for the Phoenix Suns has devolved into an absolute nightmare, as Chris Paul and Devin Booker will look to keep this NBA Finals series alive on Tuesday night. The Milwaukee Bucks, on the other hand, are riding high following three consecutive wins, including a 123-119 road win in Game 5. After weathering a first quarter storm in which they were outscored 37-21, the Bucks dropped 43 second quarter points to Phoenix’s 24, taking a three-point lead into halftime. Phoenix nearly pulled off an incredible comeback late in the fourth quarter, but a Jrue Holiday steal from Devin Booker led to a Giannis Antetokounmpo alley-oop and a foul that ultimately put the game away.

The Suns saw Devin Booker go off for 40 points in his second consecutive game, while Chris Paul turned it on late to finish with 21 points and 11 assists. Deandre Ayton did what was expected of him, scoring 20 points, pulling down 10 rebounds, and blocking two shots. Mikal Bridges (13) and Jae Crowder (10) also contributed double-digit point totals.
The Bucks were led in Game 5 by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who tallied 32 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists in the four-point victory. Khris Middleton (29), Jrue Holiday (27), and Pat Connaughton (14) all scored in double figures for the Bucks. It’s no coincidence that the Bucks’ turnaround in this series and Jrue Holiday’s more aggressive play on the offensive end of the floor coincided. Holiday was a woeful 4-14 from the field in Game 1, finishing with just 10 points. He followed that up with a 7-21 performance (33.3%) en route to a slightly better 17-point showing. Things flipped when the Finals returned to Milwaukee, however, with Holiday scoring 21 points, dishing out 9 assists, pulling down 5 rebounds, as well as recording a steal and a block in his team’s Game 3 win. Holiday struggled from the field in Game 4, shooting just 4-20 from the field, finishing with 13 points before posting his best game of the series.
Despite the fact that Phoenix nearly came back to win Game 5, it was Holiday’s steady performance, recording his series highs in points (27), assists (13), and steals (3). Given the fact that He’s attempted 20+ field goals in three of his last four games, the fact that head coach Mike Budenholzer has made him a focal point of the offense, and that he could help his team hoist the Larry O’Brien trophy on their home court, expect Holiday to have a big game.

Devin Booker to Score 30+ Points and Make 3+ Three-Pointers (+220, FanDuel Sportsbook)
If there’s one member of the Phoenix Suns worth throwing money down on, it’s superstar guard Devin Booker. While his backcourt partner Chris Paul has been plagued by inconsistency as of late, Booker has been an absolute powerhouse on the offensive end. Booker has put up at least 27 points in four of the five games in this NBA Finals series, including putting up 31+ points in three of his last four games.
The horrific 10-point performance Booker posted in Game 3 has been long forgotten as he’s dropped at least 40 points in consecutive games. After shooting 17-28 from the field in Game 4 en route to a playoff-high 42 points, Booker posted 40 points on 17-33 shooting in Game 5. The only part of this odds boost that could give pause is the 3+ made three-pointers. Booker has been inconsistent from deep in this series from beyond the arc:

The reason to throw caution to the wind is the do-or-die nature of this game. Booker is by far his team’s most high-upside scorer with arguably the best rang of any Sun. The other thing to keep in mind is that if Milwaukee gets out to a big lead, Phoenix will need Booker to hoist shots from deep to narrow the lead as quickly as possible.

Pat Connaughton to Make Over 1.5 Three-Point Field Goals (-162, FOX Bet)
When NBA fans think of this series, a number of players come to mind well before that of Pat Connaughton.
