Natalie Egenolf recently left her job as update anchor and co-host of The Mike Missanelli Show on 97.5 the Fanatic.

After cycling through various fill-in anchors, the station decided to bring in Jennifer Scordo on a full-time basis, which Program Director Chuck Damico announced in an email to staff obtained by Crossing Broad:

“We are excited to announce that Jennifer Scordo will be joining 97.5 the Fanatic full-time as our new Update Anchor and Associate Producer of The Mike Missanelli Show. Jen is an incredible talent. She’s versatile, driven, and positive and we are very lucky to be able to add her to our full-time lineup.

Her first day full-time with the station will be (Monday 8/2). Please join me in congratulating her and welcoming her to her new role.”

If I was on my game, I would have had this email earlier. Obviously I’m slipping (but I’m working on a bigger story and kind of distracted).

Scordo was already a Beasley employee and is making the switch from 92.5 WXTU, where she had worked since 2016. Prior to her Philly arrival, she was at the country music station owned by Townsquare Media down in Atlantic City. According to her Linkedin profile, she was an audio tech at NBC 10 before getting into radio.

Scordo was one of the first people that Beasley had fill in for Egenolf. They also cycled through some external guest hosts, like Devan Kaney and Alexa Ross, while using 97.5 producers and personalities in the chair as well. Scordo does not appear to have a sports background (edit – I’m told she did updates at 97.3 ESPN back in the day), but she’s done more than 10 years of radio and pretty much nails the updates. She seems to have a good chemistry with Mikey Miss and Tyrone Johnson, and now she gets the job… outright!

She’s it baby!
