Two games into Kenny Golladay’s four-year, $72 million contract with the New York Giants and the talented wide receiver has already had it with Daniel Jones.

Cameras caught Golladay’s frustration boiling over on the sidelines late in the fourth quarter of the Giants 29-30 loss to the Washington Football Team. Golladay could be seen screaming in the direction of the embattled quarterback in the closing moments of the nationally televised game.

Hey, only 56 games to go in your contract, Kenny. It’ll go by like THAT.

Golladay has had a frustrating start to his Giants career, to say the least. In two games Golladay has logged only seven catches for a total of 102 yards and no touchdowns. He’s been targeted 14 times over two games, but those looks haven’t led to any meaningful moments.

Golladay missed huge chunks of last season with an injury, so you know he was hoping to get off to a fast start with the Giants. However, with Jones at the helm it may be next to impossible for the talented receiver. He’s coming from borderline hall of fame quarterback Matthew Stafford who pumped him countless targets in Detroit to Daniel “Vanilla Vick” Jones throwing passes at his feet or three-yards behind him.

Jones, for his part, said he didn’t think Golladay was singling him out, as reported by ESPN.

“I’ll say again: He wasn’t showing me up individually,” Jones said. “So, part of the game. Like I said, he’s emotional, wants to win. We all do. I respect that.”

I agree, Jones! He may not have been calling you out individually, but I don’t think it’s a good look for your relationship when Golladay is already clamoring for passes thrown his way.

As punishment for their actions, Giants Coach Joe Judge will more than likely have the pair running gassers and laps at the next practice.
