Zac Stacy played a couple of years in the NFL. A fifth round draft pick in 2013, coming out of Vanderbilt, where James Franklin was coaching. Stacy spent two seasons with the Rams, then had a cup of coffee with the Jets before retiring from the league due to injuries.

He’s in the news this week because footage surfaced showing him repeatedly hitting his girlfriend and throwing her into a TV.

UFC middleweight Uriah Hall watched the video clip and would like to mete out his own punishment:

Fair warning, the footage is pretty rough. I’ll space it down on the page a bit so you don’t have to watch it if you don’t want to:

This is what TMZ has to say about it:

TMZ Sports has learned … the disturbing altercation happened at 30-year-old Stacy’s ex-girlfriend’s home in Florida on Saturday.

We’re told Stacy became furious and aggressive with his ex during an argument … and that’s when video shows the former 5th-round pick swinging at her head before yanking her off a couch, tossing her across the room and into the TV.

We’re told the woman called cops immediately after the altercation, but Stacy fled the scene before law enforcement was able to arrive.

We’re also told the woman filed for a restraining order Monday — for her and her son. In those docs, Stacy’s ex claims the football player came over to her house around 2 PM on Saturday … to see his son.

The woman reportedly went to the hospital, “where she was treated for a possible head wound, as well as bumps and bruises.”

Safe to say that NFL reaction is pretty universal:
