With Tyreek Hill going to the Dolphins, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald says teams are sniffing around on DeVante Parker, and the Eagles are one of those teams:

Parker turned 29 in January and Over the Cap says he has two remaining years on his contract at $9 million per. Could probably send Miami a 5th round draft pick for him, considering his age.

In 2019, he had a 1,202 yard season with nine touchdowns, then has dropped off a bit in the following two years, logging 793 yards and four touchdowns in 2020 (14 games) and 515 yards and two scores last season (10 games). He had a hamstring injury that cause him to miss about a month.

Parker does fit what the Eagles need. He’s 6’3″, about 220 pounds, so would be a nice complement for DeVonta Smith on the other side. He’s not a burner, and won’t take the top off the defense with any kind of regularity, but he’s a good slant/intermediate route runner and works the sidelines pretty well. They targeted him more than 115 times in 2019 and 2020 and 74 times last season.

This wouldn’t be the worst move in the world, but you get the feeling they’re gonna draft a receiver, don’t you?
