Bad Beat: Union Fan Loses +17079 Parlay on Unfinished Breakaway
The Union won 2-0 on Saturday, their fourth-straight win, which keeps them atop Major League Soccer’s Eastern Conference. During the win streak, they’ve scored eight goals, conceded one, and earned three clean sheets in a row. They’re just as good as advertised.
Late in the game, new signing Mikael Uhre had a 1v1 with the Charlotte goalkeeper but couldn’t score, which would have cashed this +17079 FanDuel Same Game Parlay sent to me by a fan:
Damn.
$5 to pay $858.96. That’s an insane parlay. It’s rare to hit multiple anytime goal scorer parlays in a game, and then consider the fact that one of those players, Julian Carranza, is a new guy and had yet to score this season. The other player, Daniel Gazdag, was riding a three-game scoring streak, so hitting four in a row was also ludicrous.
Here’s the breakaway that would have cashed. The Union were up 2-0 at this point so this goal would have triggered the over 2.5 –
Ok we got the Mikael Uhre video. Here's the 1v1 from the other night. Tried to skirt the keeper to his left and the touch just took him too far (h/t @jstrauss831 for the clip) – pic.twitter.com/FTxTxLWRZS

Uhre will start finishing those. He recently came back from injury and was held up transferring to Philly because of our incredibly stupid visa process. Once he finds his feet the goals will start coming. Everything up until the last touch was perfect. The two tackles were perfect, the Gazdag through ball was perfect, and the Uhre run was perfect.
Bad beat!
