Morosi: Andrew Benintendi "One Name to Watch" for Phillies
Phillies report/rumor/speculation/spitballing here:
Andrew Benintendi is one name to watch if #Phillies trade for an outfielder, as I mentioned on @MLBNetwork a short time ago. He's on an expiring contract, is having an All-Star year with the #Royals and won a World Series title in Boston with current Phillies GM Dave Dombrowski.

The Royals stink. 26-47 this year with Benintendi on an expiring one-year, $8.5 million deal. He’s 27 years old and was sent to KC last year in that Mets/Royals/Red Sox deal.
He’s hitting .303 this year, which is 18th in Major League Baseball, right between Freddie Freeman and Miguel Cabrera. Of course you’d take Andrew Benintendi on this team. Who wouldn’t? Not sure what the Phillies give up, and he’ll probably end up becoming a Yankee anyway, so I will not allow myself to get too excited by this one.
Anyway, Matt Rappa transcribed the full Morosi quote from MLB Network:
