Either Jean Segura Has a 48 Inch Vertical, or He Jumped Off the Dugout Railing Celebrating Rhys Hoskins' Bomb
The Phillies are one win away from the NLCS. Holy shit, right? I mean this time last week they had just gone up 1-0 on St. Louis in the Wild Card round, and now we’re staring down the Dodgers or Padres just seven days later. Don’t wanna jinx it of course; there’s a lot of baseball left to play!
But real quick, can we talk about Jean Segura’s celebration on the Rhys Hoskins homer? Look at this dude’s VERTICAL:

Awesome video. What an angle! David Robertson is probably so jealous right now. He wishes he could have been there to jump up and down and injure himself again.
I’ve watched this 50 times and I’m trying to figure out if Segura jumped off the railing or not. Surely he didn’t clear four feet from the ground, right? For the life of me, I cannot tell. I will continue to “effort” a better angle.
Regardless, the video is awesome. The last two people who got that high were Ja Morant on his most recent dunk and David Lee Roth in any Van Halen video.
