It’s time to turn the page on Game 2 of the World Series. Leave the defensive miscues and hopefully whatever Framber Valdez may or may not have had on the palm of his glove hand in Houston.

All eyes now turn to Citizens Band Park faithful will remind the country what playoff baseball is supposed to look and sound like. Phillis manage Rob Thomson has confirmed his team’s starting pitchers for Game 3 and Game 4:

Noah Syndergaard will start in Game 3. Gotta think Thor will get the first three or four innings before turning the game over to the bullpen. Game 4 is the more intriguing choice. After getting some critical time in a Game 1 victory, Ranger Suarez will get the nod in Game 4. Thomson confirmed the thought process of pushing Suarez back to Game 4 had to do with wanting to give him the opportunity to go a bit deeper into the game.

Time to cleanse. Time to heal. Birds take down the Yinzers on Sunday. Thor drops the hammer on Monday.
