Someone read that Sports Illustrated article for motivation:

Love Embiid calling out the old guys. The Shaqs and Barkleys and now Hakeem because that whole article Olajuwon went full on “back in my day” boomer. Talking about the death of the post player and how big guys should be battling in the paint to work for their points. That’s just not the NBA today. Things change and things revolutionize. I can’t wrap my head around why Olajuwon can’t appreciate that. Don’t you want the position you played to advance? Embiid can do it all. He can battle in the paint, spot up at the nail, get to the line, and shoot threes. There is no weakness in his game. He’s drawing the blueprint for the next generation of bigs. Hakeem sounds like an old school stockbroker admonishing this generation because they use computers and algorithms to lower risk and he used to make picks based on his gut and the weather. You know whose game was based primarily on their post moves? Jahlil Okafor. What team does he play on?

We talked more about Olajuwon’s comments and him dissing Embiid in favor of Jokic on Crossing Broadcast:
