Doc Rivers is 3-7 with the Bucks and Throwing his Guys Under the Bus
The Memphis Grizzlies aren’t very good this season and they were down a couple of guys on Thursday night, but took out Milwaukee 113 to 110. After the game, GG Jackson was trying to be respectful but had a funny way of wording his first sentence:

How were you able to hold on? “Uh, you know, great credit to Doc Rivers and the Milwaukee Bucks.”
lol
Doc is now 3-7 with the Bucks and they’ve blown a handful of double-digit leads. Thursday night’s final sequence saw Damian Lillard run into Brook Lopez at midcourt, lose the ball, then chuck a prayer with time running out:

After the game, Doc couldn’t wait to throw his guys under the bus, saying this:
Doc Rivers: “We had some guys here, some guys in Cabo.”

Is there anyone who would rather be in Memphis than Cabo? Would you rather be playing a February road game for Doc or drinking tequila with Sammy Hagar?
I am telling you, we need this Sixers/Bucks playoff matchup like a fish needs water. They’re still the three seed entering the All Star break. New York and Cleveland are playing well. Depending on if/when Joel Embiid comes back, Milwaukee could drop to the 4 seed and we could get a first round matchup with Doc. It would be fantastic television. Content city USA. We’d have enough memes and posts to keep the lights on for another year at least. We must will it into existence.
