Great stuff here from BDN on Barstool:

Talking to Vikings players that were in that game, they think the fans were what really (made the difference) – obviously we executed, but they were like, ‘if we played this in Minnesota, we win this game.’ Fans (create) a huge home court advantage in Philadelphia.”

Well, let’s not go crazy thinking Minnesota would have won that game at home. They needed a miracle to get past the Saints one week prior. The Eagles were the better overall team in a battle of quarterbacks who started their respective seasons on the bench.

But yeah, the fans tilted the NFC Championship Game. Minnesota scores first, the Eagles punt, then the Patrick Robinson pick-6 and next thing you know, it’s 38-0 the rest of the way. The crowd was rabid. One of the all-time greatest performances in Birds history, from the team and supporters both.
