The Phillies are officially the best team in baseball, or at least they are this week. ESPN, in their weekly power rankings, have the Phillies penciled into the number one spot, up two spots from last week.  The former number one team, the Yankees have dropped to number two and the Minnesota Twins have jumped up six spots to number three.

It actually feels really great to get recognition as the best team in baseball when your closer, number three starter and second-best set-up man are all on the shelf.  Oh and by the way, those stinkin' Mets have actually dropped two spots, from 20 to 22.  Man, I love to hate those guys!
