Flyers-Canadiens Flashback

The last time the Flyers and Canadiens met in a Conference Final, it was 1989. And you can see how the series ended in video clip below. The context for that fracas is that Chris Chelios delivered an unpenalized cheap shot to Brian Propp in Game 1. Propp suffered a concussion and would miss a game in the series. So in the closing minute of Game 6 with the Flyers about to be eliminated down 3-2 in the series and down 2 goals in the game, Ron Hextall exacted some revenge for his teammate.

I don't really advocate senseless fighting in hockey, but I remember feeling a bit of satisfaction at the time. And this is why guys loved playing with Ron Hextall.
