Phillies_light_blue

As part of the Brewers' Retro Weekend promotion, the Phillies will be wearing their powder blue 1970's style road uniforms tonight.  Jamie Moyer (pitching tonight) will look right at home in these unis, he was pitching in the Major Leagues the last time the Phillies wore them.  Wow.

You can get the Jerseys here on FansEdge.com, starting at $79.99, and we even got you a 10% off code.  Enter code INBOXTEN at checkout to receive 10% off your order.

Also, get the authentic maroon hats worn on the field here for only $24.99, plus 10% off!

I love this. And even better that it’s Moyer pitching since he conceivably could have actually worn this had he played for the Phils in the ’70/’80s since he was playing so long ago.
It was John Felske that finally got rid of the powder blue jerseys (and changed to those awesome mid-’90s grey-with-old-logo’s). He said it was bad enough his team played like they were asleep that they shouldn’t look like they were wearing pajamas.

…or go to any local flea market and receive 50-75% off that price! (Seriously, check out Palymra on Saturday and Sunday) 🙂

Except there’s one thing missing… The “P” doesn’t have the baseball inside of it
