Michael Vick has just stepped in some serious dog shit, and, well, that's ironic.

According to the Daily Press, a restaurant spokesperson said Vick was seen on surveillance video leaving the party at 2:07 AM, headed in the direction of where his former co-defendant Quanis Phillips was shot at… wait for it… 2:10 AM.

Fabijan said that two cars carrying Vick, a Philadelphia Eagles quarterback from Newport News, "and his entourage" drove off from in front of the restaurant at 2:07 a.m. Three minutes later, shots rang out from the direction the cars had gone, Fabijan said.

"You can see everybody duck at 2:10," Fabijan said of bystanders on the video. "I'm not saying that Michael Vick did the shooting. But he did not leave (long) before" as Woodward said his client told police Monday.

This completely conflicts with what Vick's lawyer Larry Woodward tells police:

"I stand by what I said, that Michael was long gone before the shootin, does not know who did the shooting and had nothing to do with the shooting," Woodward said Tuesday. "Anyone who says any different better be very careful."

Define "long."

This is all in addition to the story we broke last week after speaking to the Daily Press' Urban Affairs writer, David Squires.  He told us Vick had cake smashed into his face by Phillips when Michael and Marcus asked Phillips to leave.  Phillips and Vick are not to have contact per the terms of Vick's probation.

We are told Marcus was really bothered by Phillips "disrespecting" Vick, and that the confrontation spilled over into the parking lot with Vick's associates.

Now, it appears Vick may have still been around.  And that could explain why no witnesses were cooperating with police after the event, because any involvement or presence would be very bad for Vick.
