Kyle_kendrick
According to CSN's Jim Salisbury (@jsalisburycsn), Kyle Kendrick was sent back down to AAA today after giving up seven earned runs in five innings, last night.  Kendrick is 5-4 this season with a 4.82 ERA.  [Phillies.com]

"My command was off all night," Kendrick said. "I was falling behind hitters. Luckily, I got through it early. Then in the fifth same thing. Just behind in the count and left some pitches up. Mistakes, they were all mistakes — pitches that should be hit where they were hit."

Yeah, to the moon.  Reports say Albert Pujols' home run still hasn't landed.

The Phils have called up Andrew Carpenter to replace Kendrick.  In 18 starts with Triple-A, Carpenter was 7-6 with a 3.41 ERA.

Is this the first of many roster moves for the struggling Phils?
