Sixers_last_second
This is corniest paragraph I will ever write:

The Sixers ran a strong campaign.  Early exit polls showed them as the victors in this early season NBA matchup.  Even just seconds before polls closed, the Sixers had a three point lead.  However, when the votes were all counted, it was the Wizards who won this important (not really) battle with a last minute surge from the (insert any racially insensitive minority here) community.

I actually hate myself for writing that, but the Sixers are quickly becoming laughable.  They are 0-4 to start the season, and just when it seemed like they were going to squeeze out a victory, the Wizards hit a three-pointer in the final second to send the game to overtime.  Andre Iguodala's last second heave in the extra stanza wasn't close, and the Sixers lost.  Again.

Cartier Martin's game tying shot after the jump.  Full recap at Philly Sports Daily.  I'm guessing I won't be seeing much from the Sixers apologists today.
