A few Phillies items of little importance:

– I received an email from reader Harry last night, asking if we saw Cliff Lee's "Boom" shirt. We didn't. But now we did. It's awesome.

– The Darren Daulton rejuventation tour continues. 97.5 The Fanatic will be bringing back talking baseball with Dutch. Like last year, it will air on weeknights from 6-7 P.M. Also like last year, in a painful display of "guess who didn't read the paper or log-on to the internet today?", Dutch will be caught off-guard by the day's mundane news. Right on.

Still, stories of Harry ordering his "See-Through" Gin and Tonic is worth the listen. Win for 97.5.

– Meanwhile, in Port St. Lucie, Mets beat writer Andy Martino is fulfilling an unfortunate promise. He said that if Cliff Lee went to the Phillies, he would cover Spring Training in a Speedo. This is a cop out.

– Finally, David Hale of Delaware Online keeps a tremendous Phillies blog filled with the sort of nonsensical nuggets that you won't find anywhere else:

Speaking of the starting pitchers sitting around the breakfast table this morning, it was interesting to see Roy Halladay slouched back in his chair, mindlessly tearing apart a water cup and laughing at a few jokes from Mick Billmeyer and Ryan Madson. It’s good to occasionally be reminded that Halladay’s robotic personality does have a personality program he accesses from time to time.

Pure gold.
