  1. … you shoot blanton with a silenced weapon and bury him in right feild, and embrace that nobody saw it….

  2. It’ll be better packed tomorrow. Don’t know too many people that get excited to travel for a Blanton game.

  3. Cheeseburger Joe accomplished a few goals last night:
    – Grow into 5th starter role.
    – Serve up HR to former teammate.
    – Further destroy trade value to secure his spot on the Phillies.
Imagine if we saw Turbo Joe after the trade deadline. He’d have been playing us the whole time…

  4. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a ball hit harder in my life than the ride Ankiel gave that ball to right last night. I’m actually confident that I could have hit that pitch out. Everything that fat mess was throwing was up and leaking out over the plate.
But I guess it will be the same thing as last year. He’ll be dreadful for half the season then he’ll turn it on.

  5. Fat Joe would make a good middle reliever but he’s a f*^ck awful starter.
    4 man rotation FTW!

  6. Fat Joe is the fifth starter, and, more often than not, you’re going to get slop from the fifth starter, just like last night. Deal with it. Doc and Cliff will restore order tonight and tomorrow, so RELAX already!

  7. I don’t know what’s more embarrassing, the fact that no one is in the stands, or that 14.54 ERA. Oh Joe, what are we going to do with you?
