Your Thursday Morning Roundup

Well played, Sixers. Well played. For some reason, Andre Iguodala jacked up a difficult two while the Sixers were down three in the final seconds. But we'll let it go. The Sixers surprised us all this season and Doug Collins should be proud of the job he did.

– I'm hurting from a growler of Flying Fish Summer Ale I drank last night. Highly recommended, but getting off to a slow start today.

– The Flyers will play the Bruins. Game 1, Saturday at 3 P.M. on NBC. More soon.

– J-Roll™ not only referenced the Sarge remix yesterday, but he also is on board with the Flyers. Diverse interests from J-Roll™.

Screen shot 2011-04-28 at 9.19.40 AM– The Eagles rank 21st in the NFL in terms of social media interest. My theory? Most of the hardcore Eagles fans aren't 20 and 30 somethings who sit in front of a computer all day. Interesting story from Tim McManus. Also from Timmay, here is a roundup of who the experts think the Eagles will select in the draft tonight.

– Video of Doug Collins appearing to flip someone off last night… after the jump.

  1. Nobody cares about the Iggles in April/May. You’ve got playoff hockey, playoff basketball and a baseball team that, on paper, is the best this team has ever assembled. Once the Flyers’ postseason run is done and we hit the All-Star weekend, then you’ll see those numbers for interest rise again.

  2. I love the NFL offseason. The problem with that, is that there IS NO offseason right now. This is the first time in at least a decade that I’m not hyped up for the draft. If the Kevin Kolb trade could go through, the Sixers and Phillies would have been 3rd and 4th level stories. Especially with the Phils being on a west coast swing. I’m curious to see what happens, but there hasn’t been much coverage.

  3. I could care less about football at this time of year. The Eagles could trade Kevin Kolb for Tom Brady and I still wouldn’t give a rat’s ass. And the Draft tonight? Please! I’d rather watch a test pattern than that.

Hahahah, once again, you’re a piss-poor lush. Should’ve stuck to the Guinness too. If it’s good for pregnant women and thoroughbreds, maybe it’s good for dandy boys too.
Either that, or you should give up altogether now. I’m sure everyone here would agree that we don’t want to be on the hook as taxpayers for your new liver in a few years down the road.
    And as a side note, I bet you’re most compatible with a 14 years-old female’s organs. Hahahahah
