On Monday night, you can watch Jayson Werth and the Washington Nationals take on the Pittsburgh Pirates for the low, low price of just $1!
There will be three sections of $1 tickets, in addition to dollar hot dogs, peanuts, popcorn, and parking.
– quick math – At that rate, the Nationals would have to sell 50 million tickets, 20 million hot dogs, 7 bags of peanuts, 3 tubs of popcorn, and park 46 million cars to get enough money to pay Werth his $126 million. Of course, that last sentence has nothing to do with anything, I just like to put in perspective what a ridiculous amount of money he is being paid.
If you miss out on Monday’s fun, well, don't you worry, Camelot. You can go to $2 Tuesday at Nats Park.
Nationals baseball, feel the excitement!

I saw the Braves take on the Yankees at Turner Field during interleague in 2009 for the whopping price of $1. The Braves have several lots of $1 tickets they release for walk ups at each game.
Way to be an elite sports franchise!
Nats website says $1 Tickets no longer available…
can you stop doing that gay “truth” thing at the beginning of all your posts?
7 million bags of peanuts and 3 million tubs of popcorn
Well, the “truth” will set you free. Keep on keeping on with what you’re doing, Kyle!
rob- i’m fairly certain about 3% start that way, at most.
Rob is a peg-boy. Truth.
PS: More like 17% start that way, but who’s counting? Truth again.
**********The grand experiment is going well so far! !!!!!!
We’re continually learning and tweaking how the approach but it’s definitely helping everyone’s focus!!!!!!!eep you posted**********
