Ronnie Brown: Still an Eagle

God dammit!

If you need them, Ronnie Brown and Blair Betts will be for sale in the Unwanted Friends bin. This evening, Adam Schefter reports that Jerome Harrison didn’t pass his physical with the Eagles and will be shipped back to Detroit, which means…….. Brown is still an Eagle.

You know what this is like? This is like running the ball from the goal line, and while the most direct and predictable route is right up the middle for a probable six, you always have that option to stop mid-way through, toss the ball in the other direction and give it right back to the other team. Why is Ronnie Brown always in the middle of these?!

  1. Meanwhile #68 assumes the “rape me” stance usually displayed by our linebackers when a running back approaches.

  2. I’m confused. If the goal was to get rid of Brown (and clearly he became persona non grata after that screw up against San Francisco), then why did the Birds take him back after Harrison failed his physical. I mean, it’s not like he was going to get anymore playing time than Brown would. This makes no sense to me.
