Jerry Sandusky Felt He Needed to Issue a Statement on Joe Paterno’s Passing

Thanks, Jerry Sandusky, for your unneeded input.

Here is the statement Sandusky issued through his lawyer earlier today:

This is a sad day! Our family, Dottie and I would like to convey our deepest sympathy to Sue and her family.

Nobody did more for the academic reputation of Penn State than Joe Paterno. He maintained a high standard in a very difficult profession. Joe preached toughness, hard work and clean competition. Most importantly, he had the courage to practice what he preached. Nobody will be able to take away the memories we all shared of a great man, his family, and all the wonderful people who were a part of his life.

The exclamation point is to convey his seriousness… or it was added by one of his sick lawyers, presumably Joe Amendola. One or the other.

  1. We haven’t heard from him all day, so I’m beginning to worry that Iron Balls McGinty was actually Joe Paterno. I sure hope not.

  2. I was hugely for the Paterno firing. Unlike a lot of people who thought that interview with Joe Pa made him look worse, it really made me believe he didn’t even know shit like that happened. I don’t know how he wouldn’t know but I believed him. I also think that redhead sissy assistant didn’t tell him exactly what he saw and now is trying to cover his ass. It’s hard to believe but I really think Paterno was in the dark. Whether that’s his fault for sticking around beyond the years when his mind was sharper is debatable, but it is a shame that we’ll never be able to fully clear or convict someone with so many other achievements.

  3. Amazing this sick fuck can’t show some respect to the paterno family & big scott by not issuing a statement

  4. “Thanks, Jerry Sandusky, for your unneeded input.”

  5. Just what the world needed, that miserable cretin crawling out from under his rock after Paterno died. Disgusting!

  6. UN-fucking-believable — the guy who caused this man to die in shame — burn in hell you fucking scumbag
