  1. Who cares? I have no idea who is going to get the majority of the time in LF this year for the Phillies, but I have no doubt that it will be an upgrade.

  2. His numbers will look real nice since he probably will take 90+% of his ABs against RHP. I wouldn’t discount the possibility of .300 and 15 HR’s over 400 or so at bats.

  3. Doesn’t bother me. Raul wanted to continue playing and the Yankees gave him a job, plain and simple. What’s so wrong about that?

  4. The guys just wants to play baseball and NY offered him the possibility. He wont be a huge difference maker there or anything, just let the guy play.

  5. How dare he! It doesn’t matter that the fan-base has been screaming for his head since he came down from his god-like carrying of the Phillies through the first half of the 2009 season. Nevermind the fact that last I checked, he wasn’t offered a spot on this year’s Phillies roster. DAMN HIM for wanting to continue his career as a major league ball player. He can take that train right on through the American league and New York, and straight to hell. DH- SCHMEE H. Once a player cannot produce while playing in the field, he should be taken to Cooperstown, and have a bullet put into the back of his head…
    AMIRITE?!
