Why still the love affair with Valdez? It isn’t just this site, I’ve heard plenty of Phillies fans talk about him and make it sound like we are somehow going to miss him. Yes, the scoreless 19th inning was cool to watch but come on, had Valdez been an everyday guy he would have set records for GIDP! There are tons Wilson Valdez’s and Michael Martinez’s out there, it’s all just a matter of sifting through the leftovers.
