Jason Peters Tore His Achilles, Needs Surgery

Screen Shot 2012-03-30 at 12.50.30 PM
And it begins… Eagles left tackle Jason Peters tore his Achilles while training earlier this week. The Eagles say it will require surgery, meaning that Peters will likely miss the entire season.

F. This is bad on many levels, mostly because the left tackle is the most important position on the line and the Eagles have a quarterback who is made of sticks and Red Bull (figurative).

Somewhere, Ryan Howard feels his pain.

  1. Damn! Not good! Looks like Howie Roseman has got his work cut out for him as he’ll either have to draft a replacement for Peters or trade for one.

  2. this sucks but actually, right tackle is most important for a left handed QB. doesnt matter anyway since no matter how well the blocking is in front of vick, he dances around and runs off anyway. the biggest mistake is when people say vick would be better if the line was good. the eagles O line was incredible last yaer (lesean mccoy)..the problem is vick sucks and cant read defenses, holds onto the bal too long, etc. the sooner he is gone, the closer the eagles get to a bowl

  3. Still want people to vote Shady for the cover of Madden Kyle? You Schmuck. I’m going to sleep now.

  4. Worst lost to our team. Protects Vick. Throws ridiculous blocks out in the open. And gave shady big holes.
