Report: Eagles and LeSean McCoy Could Have New Deal Very Soon

Howie Roseman continues to dominate today.

Let's recap: Trent Cole was signed to an extension, Jamaal Jackson was released, Winston Justice was traded to the Colts, and DeSean Jackson was signed to a 5-year deal.

Now, Jeff McLane of Philly.com is reporting that the Eagles and Shady continue to negotiate on a long-term deal, and one could be "hammered out soon."

This is where Kyle would insert an uncomfortable Howie Roseman dick joke. Carry on.

  1. So let me get this straight. This was an 8-8 team last year with these players. And we are extending them in to the future so they can do what? Go 8-8?
This reminds me of the time that Ed Wade extended the mediocrity that was Mike Lieberthal, Bobby Abreu, Randy Wolf, and Pat “The Bat” Burrell, just cause ownership said he could.
    Howie sucks.

  2. It would be funny as shit if they don’t address the LB position in fa or early in the draft

  3. I would have favored getting the Shady, Mathis, and Cole signing over before the DJackoff signing. The only thing that will smooth this Jackson signing over with me is if they went and acquired a GOOD, TALL WR to complement Jack and Mac. Cooper is okay, but he doesn’t have that “go up and get ’em” kind of mentality.
