Good one 5 Finger Lenny
Here’s a tip of the hat to Harry. He was certainly one of a kind. I’m sure he and Whitey are having fun up in heaven.
Just got up to the ballpark Wends. for the first time since the statue arrived. Went right to him. You cant look at Harry and NOT smile, its impossible. I believe fellow Hall of Fame announcer bob uecker said it best “If you didnt like Harry Kalas, you didnt like ANYBODY”…. There will never be another one like Harry.
well said Adam
Harry Kalas was basically a father to me. A father I never met, spoke to, or even saw in real life, but I definitely heard his voice a lot on television on radio.
Goddammit, I’m at work. Post this shit after business hours. Guess I’ll be taking lunch now…
he was a mans man who didn’t mind having some cold ones with fans or agreeing to a bl0wjob by a female fan.
The best of all time.. Will enjoy a cig and beer in honor of a great man.
Love you HK.
Harry Kalas signed my cat, Pickles when I got him shaved. It looked pretty cool, but wore off.
Great man.
Was at that game. Unreal how raw that wound still is. I remember flag guy, the tears, and more than a few beers. Harry captured that evening perfectly. RIP Harry the K.
