Claude Giroux Will Face a Nashville Predator in NHL 13 Cover Final Vote

The Stanley Cup Finals start tomorrow night in New Jersey, where Mike Richards and Jeff Carter will take the ice… wearing Kings jerseys. But you, O and B blood-typed Philadelphian, can rejoice in knowing that Claude Giroux has defeated Evgeni Malkin in NHL 13 cover voting.

That means G will go up against against Pekka Rinne in the finals. You’ll have from now until June 4 to vote for Giroux to grace the cover of the EA Sports game.

You know what to do.

  1. As a diehard Rangers fan, this one is gonna hurt knowing that the armpit of New York(New Jersey),is at least competing for a stanley cup.
    I hope the Kings sweep’em.

  2. Is there a cover jinx, or is that only for Madden games?
Either way, this is the Miss Congeniality of the NHL season… aside from the Lady Byng trophy.

  3. It’s actually the opposite of the madden curse. The last 13 cover athletes have had a very successful season that they were on the cover. Ranging from cup victories, scoring leaders, to best career year.

  4. Just wanted to stop by and say thanks to all the flyers fans out there! Best fans in the NHL. Thanks again for all the votes, much appreciated. Just finished up with Kyles mom so I’m doing good.
