Roy Oswalt now has exactly one more win than Cliff Lee this season.
Lee, who was scheduled to pitch last night before a nearly three-hour rain delay ruined his (and the fans’) evening, was not happy with the decision to not call the game earlier, calling it "a major mistake."
Here’s what he told reporters this afternoon:
"I could have had my son look at the radar and he could have told me it was going to rain."
The radar when Lee warmed up at around 8:30 p.m.:
Ollie?
Lee will now pitch the second game on Sunday.

I was in attendance for last nights game. The storm was pretty ridiculous. Pretty sure lightning hit the ballpark too…
My question though is that I plan on coming back for tomorrows nights game, will they acknowledge my parking stub from last night? Or am I going to have to pay for parking all over again?
Is that screen grab old? “1 of 4 number ones” Halladay hamels and lee. I count 3 there.
Some of the other picketers on the staff shouldn’t even be major leaguers. KK must been the owners nephew or something god knows how he manages to make the team(and get pay raises) every year…
Smfh and everything this yr
@Thatguy well, it does say right underneath the picture, “photo from last year”
There was no way they where gonna play last night, I would’ve been so mad to have to warm up when I’m clearly not going to play
That is not a radar image. It is satellite infrared.
Shut up, douchebag.
Cliff is right. The phillies were only interested in selling beer and food to a captive audience for 5 hours. They could care less about the players, employees or fans. And they got to extract money from the fans all over again yesterday night. A win win for Monty and the boys.
