Pat Burrell was in town for Larry Andersen’s fourth wedding* this weekend. He was at McGillin’s on Thursday, and while there isn't visual evidence of that visit, we did come across a few pics and Tweets from the weekend. Sadly, there was no shirtless dancing at an after-hours members-only press club (that we know of), but there is this picture of Burrell with a guy called “Big Joe,” which is awesome.

And this, from someone who apparently works at an establishment where alcohol is served:

Also, I want to talk about that purple shirt-tie combo for a second: What lucky lady do we think was tightly secured with the tie and temporarily blinded by the shirt only to regain vision in time to forcibly admire the ornate ceiling stylings of a Center City hotel room? In other words: If you saw Burrell this weekend, we want to hear about it.

*In 2004, when interning at CSN, we used to log game footage and were given the direct feed of Phillies broadcasts, meaning we got to hear announcers talking to each other during commercial breaks. On one occasion, while the Phils were playing the Expos, LA could be heard telling Harry about a conquest he had met, and perhaps bagged, the night before in Montreal and how he would call her the next time they were in town. There’s not much more to it, but you haven’t lived until you’ve heard Harry and LA discuss some Canadian strange.

  1. Funny I had an internship with csn in 2001 & the biggest rumor going around was that Lesile Gudel used to blow all the phillies

  2. looking at the pics, i am almost positive the wedding was held at the vie on north broad street. it doesnt have mens and ladies bathrooms. rather, you walk in and its a series of 10 individual bathrooms that line a hallway. that said, i wonder how many different chicks at the wedding he took into those bathrooms. probably one for each bathroom. 10 for 10!

  3. I was at this wedding with a friend that got invited by the bride. The wedding was fantastic and the orderves were awesome they had lobster tail, jumbo shrimp, clams, mussels, pasta, sausage, crab legs, and plenty of other things. The dessert table was outta this world about 3 tables long with a fondue fountain in the middle. For dinner we had Filet Mignon. Also, had an open bar, live band, DJ, String band, and the Phillie Phanatic was there for a bit. Best wedding I have ever been too.

  4. That’s exactly what we wanted to know. Thank you for that. Please expand on the other types of food served.

  5. People who count other people’s drinks are the lowest form of life. Just my opinion.
