Unfortunately, the powers of both the bye week and the alternate were not enough to overcome the Falcons and Andy Reid (yep, even the Fashion Editor is piling on!). But, it's not all bad news. It's November, so say "see ya" to October's pink crap, now that we're all so much more aware of breast cancer.

The Saints annouced they'll be in solid black, and Eagles Gameday shows white jerseys, so, as late breaking news, the Eagles are mixing things up, wearing their usual pre-season only all-white combo. Monochrome black rarely looks good, but Eagles all-white is their second best combo. Week 8 and 9 round-up and your UniDiction UniGraphic are after the jump.

Combining Week 8 and Week 9, we saw some out-of-the ordinary throwbacks. The Steelers brought their 1930s "specials" last week, and, well, is it possible for something to be hideously ugly yet not hate it, even when viewing it through an aesthetic lens? Could it just be jealousy, in that the Steelers uniforms were more interesting than anything the Eagles did (who were in their own alternate jerseys) on the field? This week, the Redskins wore their own 1930s throwbacks, a more subdued design topped off with a neat leather-looking helmet. It's not better than their normal maroon over yellow uniform, but it's a great alternate. The other Week 9 "story" is the Jaguars showing up in their monochrome black uniform for the first time (notice that they were them with black socks, too – see below).
