Howard Eskin is reporting that the Eagles will release Nnamdi Asomugha today. Notgonnaplayhereanymore was due to make $15 million next season, but will still pocket $4 million, according to Eskin. No other reports (yet), and Howard’s track record has been spotty of late, but we’ll assume this happens soon.

UPDATE: Les Bowen says it won't happen today. We'll see.

UPDATE 2: The rest of them:

  1. well, a post that we can all agree on…..good riddance, nnamdi! see ya #24 and dont let the door hit you in the ass on the way out to eating lunch in your car again. let this be a valuable lesson for the eagles….the dream team was a nightmare simply because they brought in too many career losers. there was a stat that stood out to me most lasy season. prior to the eagles game vs new orleans, CSN posted a graphic showing how many current eagles had been thru a 6-game losing streak in their career. there were 8 players on that list, including 2 players who has experienced two 6-game losing streaks and 1 player who has experienced 3 6-game losing streaks! thus far, the eagles have done a great job of shedding themselves of career losers. make sure nnamndi is one of them!

  2. Okay, so the Wolfman got it wrong, big whoop. Wasn’t the first time and it damn sure won’t be the last, especially now that Andy Reid isn’t around to feed Howard juicy tidbits on the sly while displaying his corpulent ass for Eskin to dutifully kiss.
Meanwhile, what I want to know is what in the hell are the Eagles waiting for? Keeping Assholemugha around is a hideous mistake because he’s a bust and will continue to be a bust. No sense in maintaining the suspense, just put Nnamdi on the first thing smoking and get him out of here!

  3. Again, will someone who is within proximity of him please, please punch Howard Eskin the face.
