Paul Holmgren was disappointed to learn that the payment couldn’t be spread out over 11 years so he could do dumb shit with other raffle funds over the next decade
Great job by the Flyers.

U know that was killing cheap Eddie Snider to hand over that check.
you’re an idiot you have no idea that that money came from the fans pocket in a 50/50 drawling
no, you’re an idiot if you didn’t realize that i meant it was a nice job by the Flyers to donate the proceeds of the raffle to Boston.
hahaha! You’re joking, right?
I’m sure they will never see that money
Heard some guy named Ed Snider won the 50/50.
Lmao
Wow…I’m perplexed…yes, the money in the 50/50 comes from the fans, but there are two catches to this one:
1) The Flyers typically put their 50% toward the Flyers’ Wives Charities. This time they gave it to Boston. VERY nice job!
2) Flyers fans forked over a RECORD 50/50 pot for One Fund Boston. Didn’t just beat the old record; they BLEW IT AWAY! If that’s not saying something positive about Philadelphia fans in general, I don’t know what does.
I’m effing sick and tired of great things like this being completely overlooked while the negative stuff gets splattered all over ESPN/nat’l media.
That’s amazing. Great job Philly fans.
