Video: Kevin Frandsen Walks it Off… in Very Familiar Fashion

Somewhere, the Baseball God’s were fooling with their DVR last night. Because Kevin Frandsen’s two-out, game-winning walk-off double was eerily reminiscent of Jimmy Rollins’ walk-off against Jonathan Broxton in the 2009 NLCS. A classic Stream Out of the Dugout Game, this was.

After the jump, you will find the audio of Scott Franzke’s call from last night [I actually thought T-Mac’s call was very good, too]… along with his call of J-Roll’s™ walk-off overlaid on top of Frandsen’s double. They sync up better than Dark Side of the Moon and The Wizard of OZ.

  1. I just love how a bench player comes in the game, bottom of the 9th, bases loaded 2 outs & see’s ONE pitch to seal the WIN!! It was a boring game until then & hope it happens more often this year 🙂

  2. New, cleaner blog? Kyle working on the weekend now? Getting your shit together I see.

  3. Holy fuck! An ACTUAL sports post!?!? My God, I cant remember the last time I saw one of those on here! Good job Kyle, I can’t deny that right now, Im genuinely impressed. But then I look over at that retarded ad for 75 cent Miller High Life, and any feelings of goodwill that were built up are destroyed.
