Lady Finds Her Dog in Rubble While Talking to CBS News

[Alternate link here]

Just about every picture, video and assorted moving image coming out of Oklahoma is horrific. But even with all the destruction, there have been some happy moments. Barbara Garcia rode out the storm with her dog. She survived, but thought her dog didn’t make it. That is, until he poked his head out from under the rubble while Barbara was speaking with CBS News. Get ready to cry.

Wish ANYONE from the news team would have thought to help this old lady pull rubble off her dog….instead of just standing there staring and shoving a microphone in her face.

    Wow! That is amazing!

Like she said, God answered her prayers (both of them).

“There were some present at that very time who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And he answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this way? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them: do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others who lived in Jerusalem? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”” (Luke 13:1-5 ESV)

In other words, we often ask the wrong question. We should so much be asking why God let that happen to them, but rather ask why He spared us from a similar fate.

We should all be thankful for the lives that were spared by His mercy. We should pray and mourn with those who are mourning the loss of loved ones, and we should thank God for giving each of us life today.

        And we should repent (v.5).

Wow, that Dog was unbelievably confused, and I don’t blame him. He has no concept of understanding what the fuck happened. He was just chilling with his owner a few minutes ago, then bam he’s fucking buried under his house and pinned on top of the grass he used to shit on daily.

The little guy was so confused

Very classy move from Matt Kemp, but seeing as he’s likely to hit a whopping 2 more HRs before the break, I’d consider him a penny pincher.
