Maybe keep him away for the graphite shafts, eh?

My favorite take on the golf injury comes from this Pro Hockey Talk commenter:

If the shaft shattered, it was graphite. He was either playing a wood or an iron. If he was playing a wood and hit behind the ball, he’s a terrible golfer. If he was playing an iron and managed to shatter the shaft by hitting behind the ball, he’s a terrible golfer and he’s a nancy-boy for playing graphite-shafted irons.

In case you’re wondering: I’m the former in that scenario.
